Welcome to Lone Doe Farm
In 2019, Anne Hoyt started Lone Doe Farm with the vision of helping like-minded folks remember the old ways of doing things. She has enjoyed the opportunity to bring diverse groups of people together in a peaceful space where they can share their experience and expertise in homesteading skills, wildcrafting, and land stewardship. The hope is that we all find solid footing on the path to a healthier, more balanced life with a little fun and encouragement along the way!
I crawled out of hibernation only to find winter had come back! But that’s Michigan for you.
We’ve been busy planning for a great season here at LDF. There will be two Native Plant Walks and Herbal Medicine Making this year instead of one.
We will be hosting basket weaving classes again. Level 1 and level 2, which will be a 2-day workshop.
Keep your eyes peeled for the event announcements. Be sure to register early because the classes tend to fill up fast.
HAPPY SPRING TO ALL Y’ALL!
